Jordan 65 Esko 35
Jordan hosted Esko for their first home game of the season on Friday, December 6th. It was a game of two halves. The Jags jumped out to a 7-0 start against Esko’s 2-3 zone. Despite the fast start, the zone made it difficult for Jordan to find momentum on offense. The Jags led 31-26 at the half. The second half was all Jordan! A 20-0 run by the home team blew the game open at 51-26. The Jag’s 1-3-1 zone created numerous steals and easy transition baskets as Jordan outscored Esko 34-9 in the second half. Overall, the Jags outrebounded the Eskimos by 10, had 12 steals and 18 assists.
Morgan Staloch had a game high 27 points. Savi Borowicz added 13 points.
The Jags will return to action on Thursday, December 19 at home against Glencoe-Silver Lake. It is a double header with the Jags playing at 5:30pm and the Hubmen playing at 7:30pm. Come cheer on both teams.
