Margaret A. Browne, age 79, of Prior Lake, MN, entered eternal life on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at McKenna Crossing in Prior Lake, MN.
Margaret was born on August 24, 1945, in London, England, the daughter of Kenneth and Ivy (Minker) Grant. She married Graeme Browne and together had 3 children, Anthony, Damon and Larissa. Prior to retirement she was employed as a Registered Nurse.
Her hobbies included sewing and knitting, cooking and baking, traveling, and working at Orchestra Hall. She liked being outdoors and spending time in the garden, bike riding, and hiking. She was known for helping others, and volunteered at the Red Cross. Margaret's biggest joy was taking care and being with all her grandchildren.
Margaret is survived by her husband, Graeme; children, Anthony (Jackie), Damon, and Larissa (Dean) Grothem; grandchildren, Julianne and Kaia Browne, and Conner and Kaleigh Grothem; siblings, David Grant of New Zealand, and Vincent Grant of Australia; nieces, Helen Grant, Carolynne Som, and Katherine Morris. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Ivy Grant; and nephew, Scott Grant.
Visitation Friday, April 4, 2025, from 10:30-11:30 AM, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM, at All Saints Catholic Church, 19795 Holyoke Avenue, Lakeville, MN 55044. Livestream of Mass provided by All Saints Catholic Church: https://www.allsaintschurch.com/funeral-livestream Reception will follow at the church. A private interment will be held at a later date.
