Two Dead, One Injured in Early Morning Fire at Jordan Residence

Two women are dead and a man is in serious condition following a devastating house fire early Wednesday morning in the Valley Green Mobile Home Park.
The Jordan Police Department received a report of the fire at approximately 3:32 a.m. on April 16. Officers and firefighters responded immediately and arrived to find the home fully engulfed in flames.
An adult male resident had managed to escape and was found outside the home. He told first responders that two adult women were still inside. Firefighters from the Jordan Fire Department entered the burning residence and were able to rescue both women.
Life-saving measures were performed on scene, but one of the women was pronounced dead at the location. The second woman and the man were transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital, where the woman was later pronounced dead. The man remains hospitalized in serious condition.
The Minnesota State Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fire. The names of the victims have not yet been released. Authorities say no further information is available at this time.
